Location information of devices in indoor environments has become a key issue for many emerging applications. However, there is no overall and easy solution. Therefore, IPIN brings together experts in electronics, surveying and informatics. Researchers, system providers and users are invited to contribute with presentations, posters, demonstrations and discussions to create synergies between different indoor positioning techniques.
The IPIN sessions present scientific work or practical implementations addressing the problem of indoor position determination or indoor navigation. Details on the technical sessions can be found in the program.
Available for download: Abstract Volume of the 2010 International Conference on Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation (IPIN), editors: Rainer Mautz, Melanie Kunz and Hilmar Ingensand, September 15 – 17, 2010, Campus Science City, ETH Zurich, Switzerland, 449 p. (PDF, 14 MB)
We encourage you to visit our demonstration rooms, where participants demonstrate the performance of their Indoor Positioning or Indoor Navigation Systems.
Our technical exhibition offers companies to present their indoor positioning solutions. The exhibition takes place in the central lounge during all three days of the conference.
Researchers, developers, service providers as well as the system users.
The official language for presentations is English.
